Chris Ting

I'm currently working as a Graphics Engineer at Unity Technologies on the Platform Graphics team. I'm helping develop our brand new WebGPU graphics backend to take advantage of modern graphics features on the web. Check it out here here!

I'm interested in all topics related to game dev, game engines, AR & VR, and rendering. In my spare time I'm tinkering away at my own rendering engines, XR prototypes, and games. If you're interested in chatting please reach out!

Previously, I was also an intern at Unity on the XR Graphics team, researching late latching and helping work on their Mock HMD package. I've also done some game design and and game development at Manticore Games on their Core game platform, a platform built on Unreal Engine to publish and build your own games.

I graduated from USC in 2022 with a B.S. in Computer Science (Games) and a minor in 3D Animation. I ran the ACM SIGGRAPH chapter at USC, and worked in a research lab to bring LA's old Chinatown to life using Augmented Reality. Also, helped make two games that were showcased the USC Games Expo 2021 and 2022. Check them out on the projects page!
